Today I traveled all the way from Toulouse, FR to Villematier, France via the D-14 and D-14B. Villematier is a VERY SMALL town east of Toulouse with a population of about only 1,000 people (last polled in 2008). Populations of this town only go back to about 1962, so there was not much history to see except a couple of old buildings!
Here is one of the original buildings that was there when we first entered the town!
We stayed at the beautiful hotel called "Auberge du Flambadou" (http://www.aubergeduflambadou.com/) and man did they have a great spread for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
Because this was a very small town, it had that home-like kind of feeling that you get when you know everyone that you run into at the super market! :)The people there were very kind and showed me around the small town.
Maybe next week I will go to a larger city and see what that holds!!
